If you must protect a garment in storage, choose a breathable cotton or linen garment bag rather than plastic so the wool can breathe.

Wool is naturally resilient and benefits from gentle handling. Between wears allow the cloth to rest on a padded hanger so fibres relax and any light creases fall away. Avoid machine washing, tumble drying, bleaching or harsh solvents; for small marks dab gently with cool water or consult a dry cleaner experienced in fine wool garments.
