The Inspiration

The Colours

Emerald Glen

A flattering colour that suits many complexions, captures the rich verdant grasslands that surround the Manor, from the manicured parkland golf course to the lawns and fields.

Wild Burren Rose

A bolder shade is found in the Burren Rose tweed, with muted pink undertones contrasting rich berry flecks, resulting in a vibrant fabric for a statement look, inspired by the wild pink flowers (Bloody Cranesbill) that stand out against the grey stone of the nearby Burren landscape.

Atlantic Mist

The Atlantic Mist tweed is a stormy blue with a navy and grey colour base, reflective of the weather and water along the Wild Atlantic Way.

Irish Wool

The fibre itself is reared and sheared on Irish farms, washed, spun and yarn-dyed, then woven and finished in Donegal, so the story of each garment begins on Irish soil and at Irish looms.

Our process honours the full wool journey from shearing to weaving. For decades Irish wool was seldom used in structured, luxury garments and was often overlooked because of its naturally coarse character.

By blending homegrown fleece with fine Merino, we have found a technical and aesthetic solution that keeps the authenticity of Irish wool while delivering the softness, drape and performance required for luxury tailoring.

Woven in Donegal - Molloy & Sons

Donegal tweed is born of place. More than cloth, it is a living tradition of handwoven texture and colourful flecks called neps that capture the Atlantic coast and the rolling hills of County Donegal. The signature flecks within each tweed were carefully hand selected to reflect the landscapes of Ireland and the grounds of Adare Manor, capturing the colours, textures, and quiet elegance of their surroundings. Each bespoke yarn is composed of 60% Irish wool blended with 40% Merino for exceptional softness and elegant drape, woven and finished in Donegal by Donegal Yarns and Molloy & Sons.

The Details

Every trim and detail of each garment has been considered; antique brass for The Grace, the specially-made buttons, impressed with a warm gold finish and discreet Adare Manor text etched into the rim for the remaining designs.

Each garment is fully lined in a bespoke Adare Manor viscose, developed in an iridescent tonal finish and subtly patterned with the Adare Manor “A” monogram. This luxurious lining brings depth, movement, and an elevated interior finish that reflects the attention to detail shared by both houses.
