Care Instructions
Each Jack Murphy garment has a care label on it. Please follow the instructions for garment care and any questions thereafter you can email hello@jackmurphy.ie.
We currently do not offer a rewaxing service, however this is something that you can do yourself or ask a cobbler or alterations specialist to help. Rest assured, you will not need to re-wax your jacket for approximately 5 years and sometimes up to 10 years, depending on the wearing of the garment.
For these styles, you will find is that there are certain areas that get worn over time, and it is only in these areas where the jacket needs to be rewaxed. Basically, you are just reinforcing the waterproofing of the material by adding more wax to it. It is actually quite simple, and oftentimes people will leave their jacket worn before starting this process. We advise our customers to use NIKWAX as we have found this to be the best product on the market for rewaxing our jackets. Please see link below & how-to video
