A Layer That Works Year-Round
Quilted jackets for women are practical in more than one season. In autumn, they’re the jacket you grab on the way out. Warm enough for the first cold snap, light enough that you’re not carrying it by lunchtime. In winter, they sit comfortably under a wax coat or tweed overcoat without adding bulk through the sleeves. Come spring, they’re back again as the easy outer layer for late afternoons, early starts, and weather that can’t decide what it’s doing. This is also where the tailored cut matters. You can wear it over a fine knit and jeans, or over a dress with boots, and it still reads as intentional.
